HardToFind: Dr. Anil Diwan really wanted (and wants) to succeed with the nano drugs.
BoredMember: I think he has already succeeded (and still is succeeding) with his goal for the Nanoviricides drugs.
It seems to me that you're being evasive about what you believe the totality of Diwan's goal(s) was.
  • Do you believe Diwan doesn't care if NNVC-licensed drugs are ultimately shown to be safe and efficacious, are FDA approved and a success in the marketplace?
  • Do you believe his ONLY goal is to skim money off the top?
  • Do you believe the drugs are and always were a fraud?
I believe the following:
  1. Diwan wants to believe he is an honest and fair man (the truth notwithstanding).
  2. Diwan wants to believe his invention is brilliant, can be FDA approved, and can successfully treat dangerous viruses.
  3. Diwan wants the lion's share of the profits (starting before there are even profits), as he feels his intellectual contribution was the key. Nothing else mattered much.
  4. Whether the shareholders that have financed $100 Mn of development effort ever make a penny, or even recover a penny...is not a particular concern of Diwan's.
