Uncle Frank: Since IDC has come up here, just posted this on other thread. Suggest caution - or as I've said before in a couple of different contexts - don't.

Teflon: Suggest caution on IDC.

IDC has been trying to get its own CDMA system put in place anywhere whenever and so far the result to my knowledge is noplace nowhere.

The primary sustantive weakness of the IDC system is that it is limited to fixed wireless while the Q's is mobile and can combine mobile and fixed. The Q's is flexible, IDC's is not.

IDC has a huge in house collection of lawyers. It is at its core a patent play.

IDC and the Q have a cross license.

For years the stock has gone nowhere because the company has had limited real world success - to put it mildly.

Caveat emptor.

Best.

PS Many posts on this on Nokia thread and some on the Q thread.
