Indeed...Japan's reaction to both the interest rate cut AND how we reacted to our own cut will beinteresting, especially since they have a number of their own problems.

Japan needed to weaken their ownyen, in order to support the economy. The rate cut here weakens our own dollar and strengthens the Yen. A drop in equitieshere also drops Japan's investments here, so the'll be in a conundrum.
