I think no one wants to touch it because doing so would cause the buyer to assume liability for environmental issues. As for the timing of the meeting, I guess the only ones to complain to would be the securities commission, but I don't know if it would do much good. Interesting to note that the pre-opening bid volume is 192,000 shares at 0.06! While there's only 8,000 shares offered at 0.08!! Dollarwise not that significant, but the proportion here is certainly interesting.
