Imagine my surprise when I opened the email account I use strictly for ordering stuff and there were three emails from Amazon, the subject line "your payment has been declined". What? Me? Declined? Hell no! Three emails for one order. I quickly went to Amazon.com, checked the order and the third party seller wanted my credit card information. Well, the reason I shop at Amazon is that I don't have to give my credit card to all and sundry.

So I had Amazon call me. She looked into it. It was a first for her too. She has never come across an Amazon seller who didn't accept the Amazon card. I cancelled the order out of stubbornness which is a shame because that seller was the only one that had the item I wanted.
