My dealings with Gary have, thus far, been very positive. He is clearly not a PR "hypster" witness his absence from discussion boards on the internet. In fact, the only time he posts on this thread is to announce a meeting such as the one in New York or to provide a web-site address...or to correct misinformation that may be posted concerning himself or his company. Having seen PR firms repeatedly engage in hype in the past on message boards concerning other companies, I have to respect Gary's restraint. Furthermore, to date, everything he has told me has been accurate and, very often, when I have probed for more information than was publicly available, he has refused to comment. I guess I respect that, too. So far, I have had no problems.
That said, I suspect that many of the people on this thread who have made disparaging remarks about Gary have probably never even spoken to him...not to mention those who can't tell the difference between NY and CA.
Furthermore, it is a testament to the lack of quality discussion on this thread that Juan's posting of part of a very interesting speech by a VP at Chevron directly related to the fundamentals of this story did not get a single reaction from anyone. I was going to respond by posting a very good in-depth article about the political climate in the Caspian area but I've had second thoughts about doing so since there is apparently little interest in such information. Juan, I will send it to you by e-mail .
Finally, just a little note for Betty: When AIPN looked like it was going higher and you were looking to trade out at a nice profit you used your mysterious conversation with Huddleston to counter-act the negative comments being made by Razor about his alleged conversation with Huddleston. Now, when you presumably do not own AIPN but would like to buy some at lower prices for another trade, you suddenly use your mystery conversation as a warning not to "invest" in AIPN. Given that you are an acknowledged trader, the tranparency of your agenda is almost laughable. If you like, I would be happy to reproduce both references to your alleged conversation with Huddleston so that everyoe can arrive at their own conclusions about your strategy.
