Of course, if Joe Biden were suspected of doing even half of these things, he’d have been impeached already. I have a friend who was once turned down for a job based on a lack of qualifying skills. But his translation of why he didn’t get hired had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the company. “They are jealous of me because X.” It’s the same idea as a child saying, “I got an F on my paper because the teacher doesn’t like me!” This says that whatever this person achieves in life is a reward for being good. And if they aren’t rewarded for being good, then they can’t respond because “good” people don’t behave this way. trump gives voice to the injustice they feel without their having to take responsibility for it.
