I hold puts on AOL, but I always find it troubling when someone short hopes for chapter a 11, just as someone long hopes for a 20 point gain on one tidbit of good news. I don't take a stock personally- meaning if it loses money for me I don't hold a grudge. And if it makes money for me, I may or may not get into it again. Investing is something that you have to look at more objectively or you will hate a lot of companies for some stupid reasons.

I don't hope for AOL's demise. In fact when it hits bottom or whenever I am done with my short position, I would like to go long on the stock. They may be eating cash, but there has been and most likley will continue to be phenominal growth for AOL, with many more growing pains to come.
