As I said, I'm no fan of Castro. How much of what you saw in Cuba is due to our 40 year embargo and Cuba's location 90 miles off Florida? Castro is as much to blame as we are, but we engage all other Communist countries with great success. It will be interesting to see what occurs on Castro's death, which surely can't be too far off. I had a college buddy who joined the Communist Party and spent a summer in Cuba cutting sugarcane in the late '60s. He wasn't a Communist when he came back!
