So very sorry, Carolyn. I wonder if you should reconsider and maybe just get one pet so that you have a furry companion.

I think that my situation is similar to yours. It was after I lost my husband that I got Lama. Maybe there is a greater connection in those cases.

On a lighter note: At least if there is a cat or a dog in the house, one can't be accused of talking to themselves. :)
