George,

Anyone that has done ANY KIND of research on MRVC knows that they sell their switches through their NBase Communications division.

It saddens me to see you disparage this stock, when you don't know much about the company, haven't done much research, and the only reason you downplay MRVC is that is not BIG enough to compete with the "big three."

Never mind MRVC will be the first to PRODUCE a gigabit ethernet product.
Never mind they have the best performing product with the most advanced features.
Never mind that they can make the switches much cheaper than the competition.
Never mind they have been growing over 110% in the past few quarters. Never mind that they are just in beginning of fulfilling their OEM obligations with INtel and Fujitsu which means further growth.. etc .etc.

Nope, MRVC is just not BIG enough to compete, superior products and lower prices don't really matter in the marketplace.

[sarcasm mode off]

I would understand and respect your criticism if you actually researched this company, please call (818) 886-6782 (MRVC's Investor's Relations) and order an investor's packet. After reading, then criticize, I bet you won't after seeing how this company is growing by leaps and bounds and is diversified in the two hottest growing industries, networking and fiber optics. Or even at least check out their web site and product offerings at www.nbase.com and www.intel.com (Intel's fast ethernet line is based on MRVC).

Being small and undervalued against the competition can ACTUALLY be an advantage in stock price appreciation. As someone mentioned before MRVC could easily support double or triple its current valuation when accounting future growth.
