FWIW, Prime Minister Jean Chretien of Canada all but endorsed Al Gore as his choice for President when he visited the US and President Clinton last week. Gore's policies are more in tune with our PM's, and he is strongly opposed to the type of economic policies that Bush and his group advocate.. When asked if he was openly supporting GOre over Bush, the Prime Minister said that no matter who was President, Canada and the US would always work together and be friends.. however.. he told reporters they could draw their own conclusions from his comments.

I think he's still holding a grudge against Bush for assuming his name was Jean Poutine :)
