Will Gore debate Kristen Byrnes on Global Warming? I'd advice caution at any rate. One needs to look at the history of creation-evolution debates to see if it does any good. Rhetorical entertainment is not the best way to educate the public. would be amenable to a public debate with this 15 year old high school student who is impressively and credibly debunking Gore’s entire “Inconvenient Truth” by using actual science - imagine that! Good example. One can find many bright eyed 15 year old creationists who would claim they've used science to debunk evolution as well. He fails to mention that this effect has never been measured, only calculated, and by scientists on one side of the debate. Nonsense. That is a trivial part of the debate on global warming, and AFAIK, no credible scientists debate that part. The arguments are about the overall carbon cycle and additional feedback effects that a warmer climate might bring such as cloud cover effects. The kid should be dismissed as an idiot.
