Ken, Thanks for the response. If you opened an account w/$10 & as soon as the bank makes a preliminary annoucement of the offering you then deposited $1,000, would that work ? I'm also wondering where they file their advanced notices. any ideas? Have you had any luck in other states, ie. Rhode Island or Conn ? I tried one bank, & they wanted $10,000 from out of state depositors. I've also heard that NJ has some banks that are attractive, but they won't do out of staters by mail.
