It appears a subtile agenda is afoot -- someone wishes to promote a false comparison between Clinton and Bush or set a phoney class distinction between combat veterans and the affluent. This is the same fundamental technique used to foment racial unrest -- recognize it for what it is.

Bush's National Guard tour was an opportunity available to all of us at the time -- rich and poor alike. Such assumptive over-generalizations as "it is a well known fact that..." is just another propaganda technique to make political BS smell better.

I am a combat veteran (366 TFW, DaNang) who is confused by a press that attacks the character of men like Quail and Bush while excusing the sociopathic behavior of Clinton before, during, and after Vietnam. Hanoi Jane appears far less hypocritical by comparison.
