Take-over target?

Rockwell has sold off its aerospace and military businesses to Boeing which frees up over $2 billion to make acquisitions. The CEO stated in an article that he is looking for companies that fit with Rockwell's strategic plan and has already begun talking to companies to acquire. Stanford Telecom would fit perfectly into Rockwell. They compete in a few areas but are mostly complimentary. STII's extensive patent portfolio and proprietary technology would greatly strengthen Rockwell's push into the wireless and cable modem businesses.

Here is an address for Rockwell - you can see Stanford's products and capabilities align themselves pretty well.

STII has working agreements with HP and others. I question if these agreements would be a difficulty in their being acquired?

Any Rockwell insiders out there who want to tell us what's going on in the acquisition department or what the CEO travel itinerary is for the next couple of months?
