The US has lost almost 3 million jobs since Bush took office - another fact.

This will be the first administration to lose jobs in 75 years, since Herbert Hoover - another fact.

OK but...

IT had a gigantic boom thru the 90's and Y2K made many companies spend huge amounts on IT. It is no wonder that IT has been in a depression since then.

This is not the 1950's and 60's where companies give out 25 years watches. Your lucky if you are with the same company for 3 to 5 years. That's just reality.

By the way you can thank NAFTA for a lot of the job losses that have left the US. However, even without NAFTA it was going to happen anyway as other countries with cheaper labor like China came into the picture.

Change is here and learn to use it or else you will be in line with the rest of the followers.
