I hope that it is clear that my focus was on nostalgia, and this was one of the kinds of nostalgia that I've witnessed. I was not saying that I personally sympathize with the view, only that it is analogous to, and as depressing as, Cohen's nostalgia. And why did I mentioned him to begin with? For the life of me, I don't know.
