But you and I both know that Faircloth and Fong should have won. The national party was behind those candidates. You dont always have the luxury of an ideal candidate for every race.... Boxer was vulnerable, shes unpopular, and Fong couldnt even win the Asian vote! Theres losers and then theres losers. Both Mosely Braun and Boxer were WINNERS on Tuesday. Mosely Braun because she held on to some of her constituency (in fact they were even projecting that she MIGHT WIN on some radio stations) when she was projected to completely crash and burn, and Boxer because she won with all those negatives. Faircloth, I dont know, it seems like he should have won in the Bible Belt but he was running against the sexiest man in politics.
