Excellent long article on Intelligent Design in New Republic (no registration required to read article). tnr.com I recently read a semi-serious suggestion for dealing with the ID demand that textbooks carry a sticker that says "Evolution is just a theory." Instead of singling out evolution, why not a sticker that says "All theories are theories". The problem, of course, is that "theory" means something different to scientists than it does to us ordinary mortals.
