as the market matures and competitors become better attuned to consumer preferences and find opportunities to break new ground, we expect the landscape to change dramatically Well, yes, that would be the logical trajectory. But sometimes logical doesn't happen, especially with Apple in the equation. Anyway, we certainly live in hope, though Android isn't getting much of a liftoff in the tablet space so far. Amazon's baby, as it turns out, isn't exactly the first choice when it comes to selecting a tablet for personal use. It seems people prefer to give the Fire away -- literally -- and get an iPad for themselves. Apparently, sales are not overwhelming after the initial boost during last year's holiday season. Other players are not even showing up on the radar. Uncanny, how some analysts can see so far into the future with such confidence. I suppose they can always revise their lovely Excel charts if things don't go as expected. -we-
