Thanks for your prompt response. On illegal immigration, this is the view of a naturalized American with nothing to gain politically. We have to have a balanced approach where we blend compassion and fairness. That is a very tough act to follow for those who have an axe to grind; Washington political folks. The compassion part is that these folks should not be living underground as they are doing. They need to live with dignity and contribute not only by way of productive labor but also paying into the tax system. However, since they came here illegally,, they cannot derive all the benefits that those who came here legally enjoy. And that is family unification. They should be legally allowed to get their spouse and children. And that is it. They cannot bring the other members of the family like legal immigrants do. which is they cannot become "seed immigrants." On the bombing, there was an attempt by Russia to co-operate with the US. But the infighting within the US agencies and the proverbial US-Russia opposition caused many of our folks to lose their lives and limbs. What a folly. I think Obama has fallen asleep after getting Bin Laden and Alwaki.
