Frank,

The Web is content. If it didn't have any content, you wouldn't
be posting in SI. I acknowlege that AOL has stuff conveniently
organized and certain features not found on the Web, but I have
bookmarks to all the sites that I care to visit. I have access
to all the information I want for free on the Web (except for
monthly access charges to an ISP) with no busy signals.

I actually like the AOL product. I just don't think they will make
much money from subscriptions and advertising. I also doubt that
they will make money from "internet commerce." See the Cybercash
thread for a discussion of the failure of the "internet commerce"
business model.

Happy trading.
