I think the yankees also love the beaches, Disney, golf courses and new infrastructure. Very few end up going to any smaller red parts of the deep south no matter how low the taxes are. I even had a very conservative cousin early 40's retired ex cop nice pension (talk about the hypocrisy) go instead to Cary NC which is a bit like PBG without the palm trees or beach
