X-STREAM QUESTION.??--How does one put a value on X-Stream.?? From a report I was reading entitled "FreeServe Fronts Europe's Net IPO Race", --"SG securities made a case for valuing FreeServe at US$3,500 per user, versus AOL's value at US$6,700 per user. It put FreeServe value at 3 billion pounds (US$4.8 billion), saying the risk is that we are too low". -- I was wondering if that turned out to be the case for FreeServe, could one use that US$3,500/user on x-stream? i.e. 350,000 subscribers x US$3,500/user = US$1.22 billion (Cdn.$1.8 billion) or 400,000 x-stream subscribers x US$3,500/user = US$1.4 billion (Cdn.$2.0 billion). Depending on the "number of shares" X-Stream has, those figures sure are interesting.!!!! X-stream certainly doesn't have the number of shares Bid.com has of which I am fairly familiar. I understand X-stream has only 1.9 million shares in their float at present. I purchased Bid.com shares at Cdn.$2.50/share, they have 50 million shares and about 40 million in the float. When Bid.com hit a high of Cdn.$33.00/share, if I remember correctly, they then hit a market cap of US$0.9 billion (Cdn.$1.3 billion)approx. I don't know if those figures can give us some clue as to what x-stream is worth or could be worth if everything works out O.K..?? Any comments.!!! |
