I'm sure you're right concerning the existing infrastructure limitations, but the holy grail will be two-way video to every other computer. Although the upload speed is limited now, this may change before we know it. Terayon already makes a cable modem capable of 14 Mbit/sec two-way communication over unimproved cable. It's just a matter of time for the infrastructure to support what we really need and want.
