- IMHO, very bad advice (sorry). When the volume dries up the price will shrivel up to practically nothing; loss becomes even GREATER; averaging down (usually a bad practice) only compounds the loss. Better to make up one's mind on the company as quickly as possible, & if you sell take the money & invest in a company whose shares are more likely to rise near-term (to help make up for GVIL losses).
