but ie5.0 sure is the superior performer for me

LOL...I knew you'd finally come around. Let's see, let me mark (no pun intended) this date down! I understand the attachment to the email program. It's a pain switching to something new and it certainly is a target for virus attacks. Looks like we'll both learn some new stuff. When you make the plunge, here's a link (from Winmag) to an outlook express professional's site. According to them, if this guy doesn't know how to do it, it can't be done.

I feel really bad about the new machine I ordered for my buddy. I set it up for them Thursday and we haven't been up and running (other than the FAILED download of Aol 6.0 upgrade) for 30 consecutive minutes since. Between crashes I spent thursday and friday teaching them how to operate a mouse and what some of the basic terminology means. They keep asking me if they're doing something wrong to cause the crashes. I'm going over today to take 5.0 out and install a full copy of 6.0 that I put on a zip disk at home. Cable speed sure is nice. So far, I sure wish I had ordered 98SE. Added complication...his girlfriend speaks very little english.

ps: download failed at 95% because he forgot that he couldn't use the phone while online and was calling me to tell me it was just about finished. Sigh!
