Good to hear you are making progress. The larger grip would help compensate for a improperly applied grip of the club. The larger grips will not move as much during the swing because there is not as much room for them to move. I cannot stress the value of a proper grip.

LOL on the bruises. If they are a problem use the headcovers. And on the drill where the ball is under the right armpit make sure it is falling out at the end of the swing (the headcover will not fall out which is why I prefer the ball). If it is not you are likely not finishing the swing with the proper extention.
