Just to clarify, according to what's been told me re: the "road show", Bramson and McKibben are saying they ARE negotiating WITH ALL THE MAJOR DRIVE MANUFACTURERS. Not maybe, not most, but ALL. At least, that's what's been reported to me of what they're saying. And from their latest 423B filings they mentioned that they're in close cooperation and research with another manufacturer who's interested more in MR. that's one of the big heavies, I presume.

One theme that's been popping up lately in my conversation with IR at AXC and also other's comments, like Redchip Review and AXC's current road show, is the astounding strength and promise of DST. Am guessing this is going to really show up strong this year. I remember from previous 10Q's this year they were having 100% year over year growth in DST sales. Would imagine this latest doubling of capacity will generate even more business. Now their DST 812 unit can carry 12.8 TERABYTES of data. I saw a recent WSJ ad from NCR touting their data storage units that could hold "up to 10Terabytes of data". Seems to me AXC is tops in storage capacity, and probably smallest in size too for the capacity. Although DST probably won't grow to be a 500M business like KM could, it still seems it'll be giving eps a great kick in the pants in 97 and following.
