Michael Moore Does What He Does

Little Green Footballs

Michael Moore’s latest “open letter” to the President is a sarcasm-laced laundry list of every spurious charge we’ve been hearing for the past five days: Welcome to MichaelMoore.com!

Dear Mr. Bush:

Any idea where all our helicopters are? It’s Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag.

Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren’t there to begin with?

He goes on and on. He hits every single MoveOn.org talking point. You’ll find them all in this one.

But you won’t find links to charities at Moore’s site. He knows his audience well.

UPDATE at 9/3/05 7:09:13 pm:

LGF reader drsuedo points out that Moore’s front page does have links to help sites. I stand corrected. They’re the ones above the giant headline that links to his rant.

UPDATE at 9/3/05 9:19:01 pm:

Marines have a message for Michael Moore.
