I think Brumar and I have been saying all along that the pre-election plan was to withdraw from NATO and let Putin take Ukraine.
We (as in the American people) could have some intelligent conversations over either or both of these ideas had it not been for Trump's descent into the Q.

The Brexit, for example, could have been used as a bellweather for the anti-globalization movement.

And a re-evaluation of our participation in NATO is long overdue.

Unfortunately now isn't the time, all thanks to PooTin. Better to achieve complete victory first, THEN talk about America's disentanglement from foreign affairs.
