James, the music hasn't stopped b/c the fat lady is singing. IMHO, it is the "external event" that creates a "crisis confidence" which leads to a change in perception of market valuations. The "oh shii.....et mentality, the rules changed". I keep going back to the Bill-Hillary factor. The stonewall and delay tactics worked up until Monday, and now the Clintons have to face the fire on Whitewater and starting on July 8, campaign finance probe. This "music" will appear in the news every day from hear on out until the market takes notice and heads for the exits. It will be sooner, not later. Where the money goes is anyones guess, but I do know that there will be net redemptions in mutal funds that take on a life of its own. After the inmates figure it out and they are down 20% +, they will start talking safety and conservation of capital. JT
