humor: make my day: are you ready to start

We got back Sunday evening and then it was catch up time.

I am really enjoying Reflections. The weekend was such a delightful humorous one. My daughter, Trayce, drove me over to Louisiana and we had a great time building memories.

Ken, Friday, when we arrived at the hotel and went to check in, we were told the Paul Anka concert had been canceled and he had left the premises. Did not give us a reason. Sorry we were not able to see him perform. So we went to our room unpacked and then decided to hit the casino and see how much damage we could do. We burned the midnight oil playing and didn't think a thing about it as we could sleep late.

Saturday it was a very stormy day and we stayed in the room enjoying the fact we were inside and we had the rest of the day to have more fun. Early afternoon we showered and dressed and went back down to the Cafe for their champaign buffet. The food was excellent. Then went back into the casino.

Our trip was very fruitful and we both came home with much more money than we took to play with. Those kind of trips are deemed to be much more fun and always more entertaining. We saw a billboard on the way that read that casino pays out five million a day in winnings. It is a beautiful hotel, with a golf course and the pool area is so different than any we have ever seen.

On our way home we stopped at Delta Downs for a couple of hours to play as Trayce had never played there and wanted to see their facilities and our luck continued. All in all it was a great weekend for us.

Weather cleared up and trip home was easy.
