Re: Legacy Portfolio ... Adjustments

One of my guidelines with an asset is that once it drops 10% below my cost basis, I sell it. Today ECC met that piece of criteria so I sold it in spite of the 18% yield it carried. If I add back the distributions I have already received from ECC, the holding was down in the low single digits, but income isn't needed with this portfolio, therefore I let it go.

I did add to two existing CEF's though. I added to ADX and BST. The net lost income with this move was $732 annually which can easily be made back up at the end of the month when most distributions are reinvested selectively into other CEF's while dividends are selectively reinvested into equities.

EDIT -- I have been waiting for TWLO to have a down day where I could add more. I did that today. I added another $2.3K as I intend on building this one slowly. I don't want to commit too much at one time only to see it reverse.
