"It would be interesting to know how many people with a pile of creidt card debt thought they were "rich" a couple of years back because they did the smart thing, saved nothing, lived on credit cards and put all their money (with a little margin to sweeten the pot) in stocks that subsequently dropped 90% and wiped them out completely. There has to be a statistic for this somewhere.
