Gee, how's that Sal? The professors tell you the truth, and you tell them to go wash their mouths out with soap? Unfortunately, you'll probably find that Microsoftese has not yet taken over as the lingua franca of computer science, there's all these people around those parts who don't hold with the OS: a set of API's/ a bunch of software definition, but they'll come around in time.
