Can't really argue with that, Mike, other than to say it seems more like Birds Of A Fetter. Yes, management seems to have lacked, for want of better words, hunger and urgency. And now seems to be of a fatalistic caste of mind. The quotes from the annual meeting are likely to be as scary as the K and Q. What was originally, 6.5 years ago, the DST ( finest in the world) the DCR ( standard for flight testing recorders)..the DCT ( best VTR ever)...hefty royalty stream....plenty of land to sell...Ampex Media on the block to help clear the balance sheet... quite profitable..quite a bit of cash....large R&D operation for a small company......potent patent portfolio that seemed to have a bearing on so many areas and along with the R&D seemed to promise new products and royalty streams surely to come in exciting new areas...and a VERY low initial valuation relative to all of that has become what we know today. I agree, whatever blame I personally cast is aimed primarily at myself. There were signs aplenty. Well, we'll see how it plays out.May surprise us.
