I agree, the variable we have now is the cost to bring the "Viper" into production. This could cause the bottom line to decline or stay even in this quarter. Iomega in the long run has some real potential. I believe the PC industry will mature the same as the large mainframes in the hard disk technology. We eliminated fixed disk drives and used removable devices for 99% of the data storage as soon as price/performance factors made sense. I see Iomega beginning to bring this price/performance trade-off to reality. The stock has the potential to take another dip during the next few months because of Viper manufacturing costs - maybe not!! This summer I purchased the stock at $17 and sold at $29 before the correction in the technology stocks. I am now waiting to buy Iomge after we have a better handle what the stock will do with the Viper costs. Just some thoughts.
