This company has been around at least 15 years or more. If, like you say, most network companies are aquiring, I would think that with the stock price nearing book value they might be a likely target. I think that the upside potential is much greater than the downside risk. One thing you should consider is that their software is geared specifically towards telecommunications companies. I could be wrong but I think this is kind of a niche. Another thing is, I have hands on experience with some of their earlier products and they write very intuitive software. So to answer your question, Yes I do believe they will survive.
