Mr. Sinclair, first of all thank you for responding to my querries and comments. The company is finally moving ahead with plans to expand it's business which I believe is only due to the arrival of yourself, Mr Duncan and Harold King. The developments are very positive on top of a very bad 1997 annual performance. It appears to me from the circular I received in the mail yesterday that the Bissett property is owned currently by a company controlled by you and Mr. King. From that I can infer that you have had your eyes on purchasing a graphite business for some time to take advantage of this particular property.

A 1:7 split will if we are lucky move the share price to .35, I simply cannot see how that level is any more attractive to other investors. I do remember when APN was trading at .65 several years ago and now we are going to move it up to half that level by decreasing the float. Management has to do what it has to. I am just a small guy in this one. I did have an experience similar to APN in the past. Contrans Corp. was trading at the .05 level close to bancruptcy in the early 90's before turning itself into the most profitable trucking company in Canada trading at a cool $20 after a 1:5 consolidation. I hope you can pull that miracle off as well.

Good luck to us all

Respectfully
Gerald Haas
