Microsoft set to respond to DOJ zdnet.com

Nothing new here, except the following observation:

However, because tomorrow is a federal holiday, Veterans Day, Microsoft will be able to control the release of the information. Both the DOJ and the courts are closed. DOJ officials said the agency does not plan to comment on Microsoft's response. The DOJ is required to formally file a counter-response by Nov. 20.

Let it never be said that Microsoft misses many PR angles. Of course, the company line is clear on this already- that antitrust business is all a Nixonian dirty trick by the dastardly ilk, and if Microsoft can't bundle what it wants, Bill's going to hold his breath till he turns blue. Looks like another humorous day on the net.

Cheers, Dan.
