"Don't care, I just enjoy watching the relatively small number of shares our household owns and reading the annual report." A friend of mine who lost his multi 7 figure trading account on margin calls and is now working again for a living.... was wise to put his kids's college education fund into BRKa.... They will go to college. I was not impressed with WEB the Human who talked up the fear of another 9/11 attack so he could jack up insurance rates after he was slaughtered in his reinsurance market... Yeah, he sold fear to make back billions of losses but I was not impressed with how he did it. Then again, I put insurance salesmen up there with Grubman and Lay. He also seems to have no clue that Social Security is not a TAX but a "retirement fund" despite the fact congress has used it as a tax to fund spending rather than save the cash to pay us a comfortable retirement. WEB seems stupid to the point of comparing his secretaries SS payments into her overall tax bill and saying she pays more than him. Give her a raise you cheap SOB! -snort Also, SS is worth far more to those making under $100K a year as it is all most will have for retirement AND it is what pays them if they become disabled. WEB is self insured for disability and retirement.... Anyway, political rant off. The guy is a brilliant investor and nobody gets that rich without pissing off many who he got the better of in many deals.... Kirk
