If the Market Maker wants your stock, they will drop the price down
to shake out the weak hands. People's tendency is to sell when they
see the stock price drop suddenly or they will get bored with a stock
if the price doesn't move for a while. Market Makers are in business
to also make a profit. They know whats going on. If they sense that
a stock is going to make a move, they will drop the price so they can
acquire as much cheap stock as they can. If they don't have enough
stock, they might even sell some of their inventory so as to give the
appearance of movement. The CCEE thread is loaded with information
on this theory. Their is also a post with an article on Market Maker
manipulation and I will try and find it for you.

Any thoughts?
