Anyone else notice the use of the words BUYERS STRIKE on the mouthpiece network this past week?

I did and had not heard that term for quite a long time, but I did recall hearing this description in Summer 2000 when fund managers didnt show up with the money their customers were depositing....instead they went on a BUYERS STRIKE finding it much more efficient to collect fees from Market timers rather than actually do serious investing.

In hindsight I distinctly remember how powerful Trim tabs inflows were during that fateful summer. Accept that fund mangers went on strike and loaned their liquidity to shorts....what a business!

Hindsight is always 20 20.
