I found out why Ascot went up recently. DeBeer's Consol. Mines subsidiary Monopros, intersected kimberlite in NWT (Victoria Island project). Ascot owns 75% of the claim.

Yes, there are gem quality stones in Canada. I liked the museum in Kimberley, SA. The mine manager's house, train coach and the diamond display were wonderful. The variety of colours was incredible. But hurry in Canada De Beers, there is a lot of potential here also.
