Bring your own access has been an option for quite a while. Unlimited AOL at $9.95 as long as you come in TCP/IP.

Incidentally, to those that are thinking cable modems are a big threat to AOL: It is my guess that the very first premium channel offered over your cableweb service will be AOL. :-)
