This is SO Central Florida. 301 is the fastest way N&S to and from North Carolina... still we often take a different route because of the predatory speed traps. Costing us over an hour drive time. And it's not just Hampton, it's about 5 cities crossing the state on 301. Just ugly, you can't go 3 MPH over the speed limit, which changes every 1/2 mile for hours. Amazing. This stuff still goes on. They would always tell us to be careful if we got off the freeway to watch out for small southern towns and their speed traps. But that was mostly in GA; not FL......at least that's what I thought.
