While on the subject of health care etc., had you seen this news item? HRP intends to spin off its senior housing & health care properties into a new reit, 'Senior Housing Properties'. 1 new reit share for every 10 HRP, probably in September. biz.yahoo.com I wonder if this spin-off will behave like many others and plummet in price initially, recovering later.
