Those that are shorting this stock have been making easy money lately driving this stock down, which is admittedly defensleless at the moment. However, if you look at the chart, AMTX has a way of making lightning fast jumps of several fast points. I imagine part of the reason for that is all the short positions that are late to the game scrambling to keep their butt from getting torched!!! The game can work in reverse also, and things will move fast when Telcos start implementing. Even news from WSTL will probably benefit the whole sector to help legitimize the technology to the masses. There has not been negative fundamental news concerning the company and short term shorts can only drive the stock down so far before value investors, insiders, and tech funds find the stock desirable. They just need a push. That push will be the first big deployment announcement. Remember the 4/24/97 date for Siemans??

Keep your head up.
You don't want to miss seeing those short positions start to evaporate!!
